Can you see me now?

Yesterday my Dad and I went out and bought webcams! One for me and one for our home. So this morning still in my PJs I set it up. No less than 5 minutes of having it my friends Sarah and Lucy skyped me from Vienna! This is so much fun, although thier video feed wasn't set up it was still so nice to hear thier voices! Now the next challenge is set up my mom's skype and teaching her how to use it!
28 days until lift off! It still doesnt feel real, but with each new prepartion its starting to feel a little more real by the day. Next in store for me is luagage and thinking about packing UGH! my biggest fear! Packing and unpacking is not my forte...mom asked me last night what I was going to bring, and my answer was...everything with a childest smile....this is going to be a disaster!

In The Cold Still

So I am sitting here with my mom watching American Idol, which is the standard in this household. It 21 degrees in New York and I have 32 days until I hop on the longest plane ride of my lifetime! and I couldn't be more excited! Now I am just preparing myself for the journey, I have been going to the gym everyday (with the exception of today because I'm being just plain lazy), I have ordered myself three new bathing suits. Also I have taken an interest in learning how to cook, and I have started to build a cookbook of all my favorite recipes, which is not many, I am very much a picky eater. And of course I started this blog, my mom is a professional blogger and I'm hoping I got that gene too. We will see though! Stay tuned!
